Assistant Relationship Manager - Commercial, Coast

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports commercial clients on the Coast, ensuring high‑quality service, business development and risk management while acting as the key point of contact in the Relationship Manager’s absence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients when the Relationship Manager is unavailable, handling inquiries and coordinating service delivery.
• Support business development by researching potential new customers, preparing presentations, and tracking leads.
• Assist in credit application preparation, conduct full customer due‑diligence, and monitor facilities to ensure timely reviews and compliance.
• Maintain accurate client information in internal systems, drive adoption of digital banking channels, and update lead tracking tools.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree from a recognized university; additional professional qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking, sales or customer‑facing roles, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset, capable of managing relationships with commercial clients.

Required skills

• Knowledge of banking products and commercial credit processes.
• Ability to conduct customer due‑diligence and prepare credit documentation.
• Proficiency in using internal banking systems for client data and lead tracking.
