Associate 1 – Business Development

About the role

Support day‑to‑day business development and client service activities for ICEA LION Asset Management’s institutional pension business, covering segregated pension funds and the ILAM Umbrella Fund. The role focuses on prospect follow‑up, tender preparation, pipeline maintenance and routine client coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and compile tenders, RFP responses and business proposals using approved templates.
• Maintain up‑to‑date tender documentation, track submission deadlines and record pipeline activity.
• Update prospect databases, sales pipeline records and business development activity reports.
• Support acquisition by following up on prospects, arranging meetings and sharing introductory materials.
• Assist with new client onboarding documentation and coordinate client requests with service providers.
• Support marketing materials, institutional client events, sponsorship requests and client gifting activities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years’ experience in business development or sales support, preferably in financial services.
• Hands‑on experience preparing tenders, RFP responses or business proposals.
• Basic knowledge of pension products is an advantage.
