Business Development Representative – Sales Lead for Wellness Brand

You will be the hands‑on Sales Lead driving primary and secondary sales while building a national distributor and pharmacy network across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales to meet aggressive monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets nationwide.
• Build and manage a national network of distributors, pharmacies, supermarkets and key accounts.
• Conduct regular field visits, route planning and in‑person selling across the country.
• Recruit, train, coach and lead the first sales team of reps and distributor salesmen.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, monitor market trends, competitors and customer feedback.
• Negotiate deals, secure product placements and maintain strong retailer/distributor relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience in FMCG, consumer health, supplements, vitamins, OTC products or pharmaceutical distribution.
• At least 2–3 years in a team‑lead, supervisory or managerial role, with a strong hands‑on field sales track record.
• Experience building distributor/pharmacy networks from low bases; national or multi‑region sales experience is a plus.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field, or equivalent experience.
