About the role
The Collection Officer will focus on recovering overdue Biashara (SME) loan repayments. This full‑time, on‑site role involves field visits, record updates, and reporting to ensure recovery targets are met.
Key responsibilities
- Follow up on overdue bodaboda loan repayments through phone calls and field visits.
- Update collection records accurately and prepare regular recovery reports.
- Negotiate repayment plans with borrowers to meet recovery targets.
- Conduct field visits to assess borrower situations and verify information.
Required profile
- Minimum Diploma or KCSE certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in debt collection, loan recovery, or short‑term loan sales, preferably in micro‑finance.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good understanding of SME loan processes and ability to meet recovery targets.
