Country Manager – Sales for DRC Market

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager – Sales to lead the Democratic Republic of Congo market for a leading Indian two‑ and three‑wheeler manufacturer. Based in Nairobi, you will be responsible for driving retail and wholesale sales, expanding the dealer network and delivering market‑share growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve retail and wholesale targets in the DRC.
• Build and manage a distributor and dealer network, including onboarding, training and performance monitoring.
• Lead product launches, promotional campaigns and market activation activities.
• Oversee business planning functions such as forecasting, inventory management and pricing strategy.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory environment in Central Africa.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in automotive sales or distributor management.
• At least 5 years managing distributor‑led markets in Africa, preferably the DRC.
• Background in two‑wheelers, three‑wheelers or commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with Central African markets is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing; MBA preferred.
