Driver for Staff and Vehicle Facilitation

About the role

The Driver will ensure safe and timely transportation of staff, visitors, and donors, while maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition. This role supports key events, field activities, and administrative logistics for World Vision in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate staff travel to work, field sites, and official duties, ensuring safety and punctuality.
• Provide additional vehicles and drivers for major donor visits, campaigns, evaluations, and baseline studies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete log‑book entries, and perform routine mechanical checks.
• Arrange servicing, minor repairs, and coordinate major repairs through the fleet office.
• Submit monthly vehicle reports, fuel returns, and accident documentation for processing.
• Assist administration with parcel and mail delivery and coordinate with service providers.

Required profile

• KCSE Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with class C1, C, CE, D3, CD licences.
• Basic knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance.
• Computer literacy.
• Reference letter from local chief and valid ID.
• Resident of Machakos County.
