Education Product Manager – Kenya

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for an experienced Education Product Manager to own commercial growth of its cloud‑based school management platform in Kenya. The role is fully remote and focuses on acquiring and retaining institutional customers without a supporting sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire schools, colleges and universities that need education management software.
• Develop and execute growth and customer‑acquisition strategies, present product demos and convert free‑trial users into paying subscribers.
• Maintain relationships with decision‑makers, monitor subscription revenue, renewals and churn, and keep accurate commercial records.

Required profile

• Professional experience in education administration, ed‑tech or SaaS business development.
• Strong knowledge of school operations, admissions, student records, examinations and tuition management.
• Proven ability to build a commercial pipeline independently and achieve verified revenue targets.

Required skills

• Familiarity with School Management Systems, Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Effective communication with school owners, principals, university administrators and procurement officers.
