Product Manager – Restaurant Management SaaS

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Product Manager to own the growth, customer acquisition and subscription performance of Baggins Foody, its cloud‑based restaurant management and POS platform, for the Kenyan market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire restaurants, cafés, food trucks, bars and takeaway businesses requiring management software.
• Develop and execute product growth and customer acquisition strategies, including networking, industry associations and strategic partnerships.
• Present and demonstrate the platform’s POS, Kitchen Display System, table management, menu engineering, inventory, online ordering and financial modules.
• Convert trial users into paying subscribers, manage onboarding and implementation discussions.
• Maintain customer relationships, encourage renewals, minimise churn and track verified revenue, acquisition and retention metrics.

Required profile

• Professional experience in restaurant management, food‑and‑beverage operations or hospitality technology.
• Strong understanding of restaurant workflows, POS systems, kitchen communication, inventory control and food costing.
• Proven business development or SaaS subscription growth experience within the food‑service sector.
• Established network or ability to build relationships with restaurant owners, managers and decision‑makers.
• High professionalism, accountability and ability to work independently without a sales team.
