About the role

Jumba Ruins Monsoon is seeking a friendly and professional Hostess Waitress to join its beachfront team in Mombasa County. This full‑time, on‑site position involves greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth dining experience in a relaxed, seaside setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Handle reservation bookings and manage the seating plan.
• Provide menu guidance and recommend dishes and wine selections.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate timely food delivery.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and courteously.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Experience or knowledge of food‑and‑beverage service.
• Basic cooking knowledge is a plus for informed menu recommendations.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
