Information Management Consultant – Hybrid (Nairobi)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Information Management Consultant to provide cross‑sectoral technical expertise for designing, refining and institutionalising advanced information management and analytical systems. The role supports all programme and corporate sections, strengthening data integration, analytical capacity and scalable tools for evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and manage data from programme, financial and partner sources.
• Ensure data quality and develop robust information systems.
• Perform data analysis and produce regular reports and visualisations.
• Engage with stakeholders to align data solutions with operational needs.
• Strengthen capacity through knowledge transfer and training.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Economics, M&E or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in information management, data analytics or monitoring & evaluation.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data integration systems across multiple data sources.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct advanced data analysis and develop dashboards (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and linking programme results with financial data.
• Fluent English; nationals only.
