About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to work as an IVF Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse within our fertility team in Mombasa. The role involves direct participation in assisted reproductive procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Assist during Oocyte Pick‑Up (OPU), Embryo Transfer and other IVF procedures.
- Prepare patients, the operating theatre, and all required equipment before procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection‑control standards at all times.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure stability.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, documentation, and specimen handover.
- Support emergency management and post‑procedure recovery care.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse with a valid professional registration.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing or OT experience; IVF, fertility or gynaecology experience preferred.
- BLS certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
