Junior Sales Officer – Nairobi (2 positions)

About the role

Our client in the automotive sector is looking for energetic, customer‑oriented Junior Sales Officers to expand its market reach in Nairobi. You will be responsible for promoting workshop services, spare parts and related products while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new customers to grow the client base within the automotive market.
• Promote and sell automotive workshop services, spare parts and related products to individual and corporate clients.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide clear, accurate product and service information.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Achieve set sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
• Follow up on leads, convert prospects into active customers and handle complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, quotations and transactions.
• Support marketing campaigns, monitor competitor activity and provide feedback on market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience; experience in a workshop or technical environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• High level of professionalism, honesty and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
