About the role
Solvo Global is seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to support a U.S.-based personal injury and mass torts practice from its Nairobi office. You will act as a key liaison between clients, medical providers, and the legal team, ensuring smooth case management across borders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain empathetic, timely communication with clients.
- Coordinate with hospitals, police stations, and insurance companies to gather necessary information.
- Organize, prioritize, and manage a high volume of legal documents and case files.
- Schedule and track physical therapy and medical appointments for clients.
- Support the Mass Torts team with data management, case filings, and documentation.
Required profile
- Fluent English (C1 level) – both written and spoken.
- At least one year of legal experience, preferably within Kenya.
- Background in law – current students or recent graduates.
- High level of initiative, responsibility, and commitment.
- Interest in certified translation is a strong plus.
