About the role
We are seeking a motivated Legal Pupil to join our Nairobi office. This full‑time, on‑site apprenticeship offers practical training and mentorship across business law and human rights matters, allowing you to develop core legal competencies while supporting our advocates.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions, briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts and correspondence.
- Assist advocates during court appearances, client meetings and transactional work.
- Manage files, review documents and perform compliance‑related tasks.
- Visit court and land registries to file and retrieve documents.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably assigned to support service delivery.
Required profile
- LL.B degree from a recognised university.
- Currently enrolled in or having completed the Advocates Training Programme.
- Strong analytical, research and drafting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced legal environment.
