Medical Records Specialist

About the role
The Medical Records Specialist supports the clinical team by managing patient records and ensuring accurate, timely documentation. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of information that enables high‑quality care for our diverse community.
Key responsibilities
- Process requests to release, retrieve, and maintain patient medical records.
- Electronically file incoming lab and diagnostic result reports.
- Assist clinicians in locating records needed for office visits.
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and answering inquiries related to records.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a health‑care setting (preferred).
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
