About the role
The Partnerships Officer (P-2) will support UNICEF Sudan’s development portfolio by expanding and strengthening relationships with development partners, including IFIs, BMZ/KfW and other donors. Based in Nairobi, the officer will work closely with UNICEF Sudan sections, the World Bank PMU and field offices to secure resources for resilience and development programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the work plan for the assigned partnership area, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery of results.
- Build and maintain partnerships by supporting the development of standards, guidance, work plans and strategies.
- Develop frameworks and templates for donor engagement, reporting and accountability.
- Serve as internal focal point for specific donor portfolios, coordinating with programme teams and external partners.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance, ensuring compliance with UNICEF policies.
Required profile
- Under the supervision of the Public Partnership Specialist (Development Portfolio).
- Experience working with development partners, donor agencies or multilateral institutions.
- Ability to engage cross‑functional teams across UNICEF sections and external stakeholders.
