Remote Accountant (US GAAP) – $90-100/hr

About the role

We are seeking a remote Accountant with solid US GAAP experience to support a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and assisting with month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month‑end close processes and reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements.
