About the role
Tenakata, a licensed digital credit provider in Kenya, is looking for a motivated Sales and Collections Intern to support its sales team in Kapsabet. The intern will assist with market research, lead generation, cold‑calling, and follow‑up activities while gaining exposure to both sales and collections functions.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside Business Development Officers and Collections Officers to meet branch targets.
- Deliver high‑quality customer service and support.
- Assist in preparing and delivering management information reports and market feedback.
- Contact debtors to receive payments and follow up on defaulters.
- Educate customers, maintain relationships, and generate new sales leads.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree (general education).
- Computer literacy.
- Educational background in Sales or Marketing.
- Previous experience in a related field or financial institution is an advantage.
