Country Sales Manager – Africa & GCC (Industrial Chemicals)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Country Sales Manager to lead B2B sales growth, develop new business opportunities, and manage key customer relationships across Africa and the GCC for a leading international chemicals company.

Key responsibilities

• Drive B2B sales of industrial chemicals, petrochemicals, solvents, lubricants, base oils, polymers, specialty chemicals, paints & coatings.
• Identify and win new business while expanding existing key accounts.
• Sell to manufacturers, distributors, and industrial end‑users across the region.
• Maintain and grow an existing customer network and sales book within the industrial chemicals sector.
• Travel extensively throughout Africa and the GCC, using personal vehicle and home‑office setup.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience in industrial chemicals, petrochemicals or related sectors.
• Established customer network and proven sales book in the industrial chemicals market.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
• Strong technical understanding of chemical products and their applications.
• Relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Willingness to travel extensively and equipped with own vehicle, laptop and home‑office.
