Customer Development Manager

About the role

The Customer Development Manager will ensure priority customers experience a connected EABL team that is easy to work with, delivers reliable service and drives growth across customer categories. The role links regional go‑to‑market excellence with strategic partnerships to create sustainable value for customers, consumers and EABL.

Key responsibilities

• Define regional GTM principles, market archetypes and channel standards across On Trade, Modern Trade, Convenience, Traditional Trade, Wholesalers, Distributors, Digital and B2B.
• Own regional frameworks for Route‑to‑Consumer, Distributor Excellence and strategic RTM partnerships, establishing best‑practice standards for outlet coverage, service frequency and route productivity.
• Create and govern a Strategic Regional Partnerships platform, defining architecture, operating principles and value‑realisation for key partners.
• Lead development and deployment of regional Revenue Growth Management frameworks, setting standards for customer profitability, price/mix optimisation and promotional ROI.
• Define the EABL Customer Development value‑creation framework, integrating category growth, assortment, innovation, activation, pricing, promotions, supply and data‑sharing.

Required profile

• Degree holder with a minimum of 7 years’ leadership and execution experience in FMCG (including drinks/luxury) or trade environments such as hotels, bars or restaurants.
• Solid understanding of P&L and budget management, with strong commercial and financial planning skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams, and to influence across functions and senior levels.
• Experience in change management, complex stakeholder management and participation in leadership teams.
• Cross‑functional and multicultural working experience.
