Sales Executive – Retail & Online Sales

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing retail and e‑commerce business seeking an energetic Sales Executive to drive sales across both physical stores and digital channels. You will engage customers, convert enquiries into purchases and ensure a seamless experience from first contact to order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome walk‑in customers, demonstrate products and close sales.
• Respond promptly to enquiries via WhatsApp Business, phone, social media and other online platforms.
• Follow up on leads, maintain accurate product knowledge and process orders efficiently.
• Handle complaints, after‑sales enquiries and warranty requests professionally.
• Maintain customer and sales records using POS or CRM systems and work towards individual sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail, showroom or customer‑facing sales.
• Strong spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
• High integrity, reliability, self‑motivation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Practical experience with WhatsApp Business for customer enquiries.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Experience using CRM software or similar sales management tools.
