Entrepreneur-in-Residence – Market Expansion (12‑month program)

About the role

Carry1st is looking for a dynamic Entrepreneur‑in‑Residence to lead market expansion in a target country. This 12‑month, high‑intensity program gives you full ownership of revenue growth, customer acquisition and partnership development while working closely with the co‑founder and President.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L for Carry1st Shop in the assigned country, driving revenue and user growth.
• Design and execute aggressive go‑to‑market strategies, including performance marketing, influencer activations and community‑led initiatives.
• Identify, negotiate and close strategic partnerships with local payment providers, telcos and retail chains.
• Monitor competitive landscape to ensure market leadership in pricing, experience and content.
• Provide deep market intelligence on gaming culture, consumer behavior and regulatory changes to inform product and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven entrepreneurial drive with experience in high‑growth environments, preferably e‑commerce.
• Track record scaling consumer products and optimizing unit economics in the target market.
• Strong network within the local technology or gaming ecosystem.
• Exceptional negotiation skills combined with hands‑on execution ability.
• Data‑oriented decision making and fluent communication in English and the local language.
