HR Resources Officer

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim is hiring a Resources Officer in Nairobi (Westlands) to provide administrative support to HR operations. The role maintains employee records, coordinates interviews and onboarding, prepares HR documents and responds to employee inquiries, ensuring accurate documentation and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records, files and HR documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including document collection.
• Support attendance tracking, leave records and employee data management.
• Assist in scheduling interviews, meetings and employee appointments.
• Prepare HR correspondence, letters, reports and internal communications.
• Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the right HR contacts.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information.
• Support employee engagement activities and administrative HR initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination or office administration.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
