People and Performance Manager

About the role

Q-Sourcing, a manpower management solutions firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting a People and Performance Manager in Nairobi on behalf of its client. The role sets up and manages the client's performance management system, supports senior leaders and departmental managers so strategic projects run on time, and drives accountability and results while keeping people engaged and learning. It is described as a hybrid role between strategic HR and business execution.

Key responsibilities

• Implement or manage performance review systems, with familiarity with KPIs or balanced scorecards
• Set goals and track them using departmental scorecards or project tracking tools
• Coordinate strategic projects to ensure timely delivery
• Advise business heads on performance and capability building
• Analyse performance data and prepare dashboards or summaries
• Work with senior leadership and roll out new systems with departmental buy-in

Required profile

• 8-12 years of progressive HR or strategy experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on exposure to performance management or coordination
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with senior management
• Experience implementing systems from scratch and exposure to growth-phase organisations
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Organizational Development; MBA, MSc HRM, IHRM-K or CHRP-K preferred
