Quality Assurance Specialist – Nairobi

About the role

Centric Brands is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead QA activities for its Nairobi operations. The role involves coordinating fit approvals, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with licensor and customer standards across the textile and apparel production process.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate fit, PP approval, and PP meetings.
• Conduct inline and final inspections, including full packaging inspections.
• Monitor production work‑in‑progress, report challenges, and communicate results to Asia and NA leads.
• Prepare and communicate daily quality inspection reports.
• Track color, bulk fabric, trim approvals, and special sample requests.
• Perform factory audits, manage corrective action plans, and ensure compliance with licensor/customer QA requirements.
• Collaborate on vendor allocation, sourcing strategy, and PO management in SAP.
• Coordinate with sales on quantities, delivery schedules, and direct shipment orders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within the textile or garment industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, construction, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
