Social Media & Marketing Manager

About the role

A recruitment agency is hiring on behalf of a client in the hospitality industry for a Social Media & Marketing Manager based in Nairobi. The role covers developing and executing marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, increasing brand visibility and driving customer engagement and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and social media strategies
• Manage social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and X
• Create engaging content such as posts, reels, campaigns and promotional materials
• Plan and run digital marketing campaigns and paid advertisements
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Manage brand positioning and online reputation
• Analyse campaign performance and prepare monthly reports
• Collaborate with photographers, influencers, designers and operational teams
• Drive customer engagement, reservations and brand awareness

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or a related field
• At least 5 years' experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in hospitality
• Proven track record of running successful social media campaigns
• Excellent communication and creative writing skills
• Strong understanding of branding and customer engagement
• Experience in photography or videography is an added advantage

Required skills

• Meta Ads, Instagram, TikTok and digital marketing trends
• Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar content creation tools
• Analytical and reporting skills
